Excellent Tour, original Boat from Series, Excelletn Guides

The tour was fantastic. We went on the original boat used in the series and the wife & I dressed up as characters from the show such as John Snow, the Unsulid, Daenerys and Melisandre which was really funny. The costumes are actually Hand made by a local and he is dressed as the king on the boat and is a really nice bloke. We had a cocktail on the ship and our guide Jalena was brilliant, very witty, an obvious Game of Thrones fanatic with her knowledge and just a really nice person. After the boat ride which is approx 45mins, we walked through the old town and Jalena took us to locations that were filmed in the old town and also gave us back stage knowledge. She had also met many of the characters in the series and went into detail of those experiences. This trip is a must if you are a game of thrones fan visiting Dubrovnik.

Exciting, fun and very informative tour.

I’m a great fan of GoT so I was thrilled to be able to go on Daenery’s ship and go into Kings Landing from the sea. Being onboard was fun, especially dressing up. King Robert chose my costume and I was delighted to find myself as The Queen of Thorns, with photos to prove it. The Dragon’s Blood cocktail tasted good. The tour of Dubrovnik Old Town was excellent. The guide was very informative and amusing - giving us some juicy gossip about the cast. It was good to be able to see stills from the filming in the locations and be helped to work out what was added or removed. One of my companions has never seen GoT but she enjoyed the tour immensely and is determined to find time for the box set. I can honestly say it was the best tour I’ve ever been on.

Very fun tour with passionate and knowledgeable guide

Great tour. First half on the boat with costumes and some commentary a mix of GoT and Dubrovnik history - a relaxed way to start. Second half walking tour was more intense - our guide Anna was clearly very passionate about GoT and it's connection to the city, and was full of stories ranging from filming secrets to some of the mythology behind the series. Would recommend this tour to anyone. Only 2 small minus points: Costumes were great and looked authentic, but it became a bit of a queue waiting to dress up - decided to give it a miss instead of miss out on the views from the boat. Also the iron throne is located in a small shop that we had passed earlier in the day - which is run by a slightly grumpy and impatient lady...

Must be done even if just see the walls from a Pirate Ship

We were not going to bother with the tour, until we seen the ship... It's incredible! We were so pleased we did the tour, the view around the old town as you come in on the boat as the sun is setting while trying on costumes from the show was great (thank you King). The walk around the town afterwards was very interesting with lots of insights you would not know yourself and pictures were also shown so you could see the backgrounds used in the series. I would recommend this to anyone who went to Dubrovnik, it was a great experience on our last day. NOTE, be sure to check where you're boarding as we almost missed the boat, we were staying in Old Town and had to get a taxi to another port as it arrived back in Old Town.

Superb, authentic ship, fun costumes, knowledgeable guide

Absolutely fantastic tour and cruise - there are a lot of these to choose from, but I would definitely recommend this (it ends at the Game of thrones shop where if you go on your own you need to buy a souvenir before you can take a photo on the Iron Throne, but on the tour it is part of the package). The cruise itself is on one of the ships used in the series, and you get to dress up too!! The tour largely follows Cersei's walk of shame, and the guide offers extra snippets from being local to the filming. So much fun, especially when the ship docks at 'King's Landing' - it's a real show stopper!!
