We had an amazing Aurora minibus tour with Roberto! He was friendly, passionate, and very knowledgeable, explaining the science behind the Northern Lights and how they occur. Roberto took us to two locations, but his decision to stay longer at the first was perfect—we witnessed a spectacular intense aurora activity (真的是极光大爆发)! He suggested the aurora might intensify, and it did. While nature decides, his experience and judgment made a difference. The minibus was comfortable, never overcrowded, and he ensured a smooth, safe ride. He was also very attentive to the children's safety on board. After the tour, he promptly sent us the beautiful photos he took, which we really appreciated. Overall, Roberto’s expertise and passion made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
We traveled to Tromsø specifically hoping to see the Notthern Lights. We were worried after two days of snowfall we might not have a chance. Prior to our arrival we booked a tour for our third day. Our guide, Roberto, was awesome! He was genuinely excited when we saw the Northern Lights!!! With his kind of excitement, we knew he was going to find the best possible view for us!!!

Meeting point
We start our tour at Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø's downtown. Meet on time. Don't forget your passport or a copy of it in case we need to cross the border. Place yourself facing the entrance of the hotel, then look to your right and locate the parking lot besides the hotel on that side. We normally park on the road along the concrete fence of that parking lot. Search for a white Ford Transit minibus. Roberto is 1.75m, brown skin and wears a dark blue thermal overall suit. He has an LED scroller app on his phone showing the word "PARADISE". If you haven't seen him at 1800 o'clock, please call him at 004793400759.

Know before you go
- The northern lights are often visible, even on cloudy, rainy, or snowy nights. You may experience a snowstorm or harsh weather during this tour. This can be new for you if you are not used to snow but it is completly normal in the Arctic. We often drive to spesific prime spots away from the bad weather and city light polution and see the northern lights. Please have in mind that this is a nature based event and no one can garantee you Northern Lights sighting. A refund will not be issued if Northern Lights are not seen.
- The duration of the trip is stated to be 6 hours, but please note that this duration is flexible and will entirely depends on the course of the trip: the weather conditions, the distance of the hunt and how the northern lights appear. This means that we can return much earlier (before midnight) or much later (after midnight).
