Vilhelm was our snow-shoeing guide at Camp Tamok. Gosh, he was just incredible!!! We had such an amazing time with him! He was chatty, enthusiastic, and so knowledgeable about the area. We loved hearing all of his anecdotes and stories of his own experiences. Not only did we have a magnificent time trekking through the most beautiful of snow landscapes, Vilhelm told us all about how the ice sculpture park was built, the hurdles they had to overcome this season (the ice all melted halfway through the season because of crazy weather and they have to start again from scratch!!), gave us excellent tips on how to make our campfire lunch delicious (have the traditional bread with butter and honey! So delicious!) and brought us to see the huskies and the puppies - who are so incredibly friendly and so happy to receive attention from anyone!! Aww!! Thank you for a wonderful experience, Vilhelm! We hope to be back again at Camp Tamok soon!
The snowshoeing experience with Henrik is one of a kind. The bonfire with hotdog and flatbread and black currant teas was amazing! The Ice domes was incredible! Unforgettable moments!
