Full description
Search for the Northern Lights above the stunning fjords, mountains, and lakes around Tromsø. Enjoy the best chances for clear skies from September to March and marvel at this natural phenomenon in a small group of no more than 8 people per minivan. Please note that we can have up to 4 minivans on busy nights. After pickup at the Radisson Blu Hotel at 7 PM, head to the local partner's office where a briefing will be given. Listen to a briefing about the weather conditions and the best chances of seeing the aurora. Then, receive warm overalls, and boots before driving to the best spot. Relax with coffee and muffins as you wait for the Aurora Borealis or, if you're lucky, watch her dancing as soon as you arrive.

This tour was simple but exciting. You jump in an average minibus and take off to find a good spot. We were lucky to have a clear sky, but unfortunately had a full moon which can make it very hard to see the lights. Keep that in mind when scheduling. Francisco was confident and knowledgeable, great quick driver, took good photos and served coffee/tea/muffins. Suits were very comfortable and needed. No fire because it disrupts experience by shrinking your pupils from the light and then trying to readjust to see night sky.

Unser Guide hat sich richtig Mühe gemacht mit uns an unterschiedliche Stellen zu fahren, wir hatten nach einer Stunde bereits Polarlichter gesehen. Dennoch war er bemüht uns an einen anderen Ort zu bringen. Hier waren wir wieder erfolgreich trotz dass es sehr wolkig war!

It was amazing! We were lucky enough to see the northern light before we even arrive at the first stop. We didn’t have to drive out far and didn’t have to wait in the freezing cold for a long time to see the aurora. We were really lucky to get a lot of pictures and see multiple colours with bare eyes. The pictures took by the guide Francisco were amazing. He was very informative. We all have a great time and it made our day.
