Berlin: Private Cold War Walking Tour with Pickup

- Duration: 3 hours
The tour is very informative, and it takes a quite time so you better be well prepared. I think I could put additional pair of socks and gloves, because, even though it was "only" around 5-6 degrees Celsius (which is warm for the beginning in January) the Berlin wind can be so tricky :) And our guide, Barnaby, was funny as hell! Great guy, very smart and educated! I think he is the funnies tourist guide I have ever met! I really learned a lot about the cold war and the Wall.
We really enjoyed our segway tour of Berlin. After a short training we rode off on the streets of Berlin, hopping between East and West side with ease. Our guide gave us a comprehensive and factual view over the city packed full of tips and personal facts on how the city was growing. Massive thanks to our travel agency Meine Städte for recommending and booking the trip for us!
Perfect tour showing multiple points of interest with using public transportation. Even a little rain did not harm the event as our guide Michael just took off to the next underground station to finish his detailed explanation of the previous site.
We had John J. as our guide, and we had an amazing time. An ex-historians himself, he brought to life the many different facets of history - from the perspective of so many (jokes and all!!) Amazing 4 hours! Couldn't recommend this more..
Our guide Philippa was knowledgeable, funny, and deeply respectful of the human price of the Cold War. She provided enough names and dates to impress any historian, leavened with stories and contemporary connections. A great tour.
