El Escorial is a must see place. The arrangements were very good but the guide was in a mighty rush and was walking well ahead of the group, mostly talking to herself. A little more patience on her part would have left a much better impression on all in the group.

  • From Ajaccio: Sanguinaires Islands Sunset Boat Trip

    8. From Ajaccio: Sanguinaires Islands Sunset Boat Trip

Watch the sunset from one of Corsica's best sunset locations on this boat trip from Ajaccio. Get the chance to explore the largest of the Sanguinaires Islands, Mezzu Mare, and enjoy a glass of wine and charcuterie board onboard. Board your speedboat in Ajaccio and set sail for Mezzu Mare, where you will moor for an hour. Explore the island on foot and visit a 19th-century lighthouse for panoramic views of the entire archipelago or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. On your return to the boat, sit down to a delicious charcuterie tasting board served with Corsican rosé wine. Relax as the sun sets over the Mediterranean Sea. Finally, enjoy one last dip in the warm waters of the sea before returning to the port.

The trip was well planned and the tours were informative and worthwhile. The only reason I gave this a 4* rating is the lunch was not very good. Nacho was an excellent guide and our bus driver Sous did a good job driving so many miles. We learned a lot about Spanish history.

Sol, the tour guide was in my opinion quite disorganized and was unable to sustain the attention and interests of the group. With limited time, she could have managed the tour better. At times we would be walking for long periods of time in extreme cold weather. We had to switch buses. She was knowledgeable but lacked people skills. I would prefer someone far pleasant and interesting. We were not able to visit the inside of churches except maybe for one so my goal to compare churches was not fulfilled.

  • Madrid: Toledo and El Escorial Full-Day Coach Tour

    10. Madrid: Toledo and El Escorial Full-Day Coach Tour

Discover the City of the Three Cultures, 70 kilometers from Madrid. Toledo is a beautiful city-museum and a UNESCO World Heritage Site...

The tour was in Spanish and English. First part of the day Escorial, one hour break and Tolido in the afternoon. I didn't like the shopping stop (isolated store with very expencive items) at the end of the day for about 1 hour, which was not mentioned anywhere.

We were in Toledo on August 14th, apart from the heat everything went beautifully. The meeting point was easy to find. As soon as we arrived in Toledo the guide (Jesus) immediately told us about the city and then arrived at a panoramic point (5 minutes for photos). We then entered the city center. Jesus accompanied us explaining the history of the places of Toledo (about 1 hour and a half). Too bad for the free time (too little to be able to see everything). Overall, however, we were very satisfied. Driving was the highlight. Do not miss the synagogue and the monastery with the bracelet

My experience was fantastic, Maite was the best guide, she spoke to us in English and Spanish, she took great care of us. The group arrived and divided, there we met with another guide, it was very brief, short-sighted and let us do what we wanted. Then I met up with Maite, she was fanatastic, she was in charge of taking us to the bathroom and locating people who could not move well by taxi, to the bus, the comfortable bus, Gabriel the driver was very kind to everyone. I will return to Toledo.

Alhambra is a massive complex and it was incredible to navigate it with a guide. Although we didn’t get to Nasrid palace, we saw everything else and learned so much. I would definitely recommend this tour! You will have to walk up the hill so make sure your legs are well rested!

Tamar was a wonderful guide for our tour of these three beautiful cities and our driver Suso was superb. If all the guides and drivers are this good, this is a must do tour for anyone looking to explore the countrysides surrounding Madrid.

All in all excellent guide, places to visit for lunch instead of bad
