  • From Ajaccio: Sanguinaires Islands Sunset Boat Trip

    5. From Ajaccio: Sanguinaires Islands Sunset Boat Trip

Watch the sunset from one of Corsica's best sunset locations on this boat trip from Ajaccio. Get the chance to explore the largest of the Sanguinaires Islands, Mezzu Mare, and enjoy a glass of wine and charcuterie board onboard. Board your speedboat in Ajaccio and set sail for Mezzu Mare, where you will moor for an hour. Explore the island on foot and visit a 19th-century lighthouse for panoramic views of the entire archipelago or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. On your return to the boat, sit down to a delicious charcuterie tasting board served with Corsican rosé wine. Relax as the sun sets over the Mediterranean Sea. Finally, enjoy one last dip in the warm waters of the sea before returning to the port.

The trip was well planned and the tours were informative and worthwhile. The only reason I gave this a 4* rating is the lunch was not very good. Nacho was an excellent guide and our bus driver Sous did a good job driving so many miles. We learned a lot about Spanish history.

What people are saying about Toledo

The tour was wonderful. The buses were comfortable and our guide Irene did an amazing tour, in English and Spanish. Always attentive, she showed great knowledge and pleasure in showing us the city and some of the main monuments, which certainly made our day in Toledo unforgettable. The wine tasting was also great! A must-see tour is not tiring.

This was fantastic... didn’t feel rushed. We had an hour or so rest between cities as we travelled. Our guide Paola was bee knowledgeable and lovely. Our driver Enrique was professional, drove safely and didn’t spend any time on his phone or texting. The glass of Cava on return to toast the day was a lovely end.

Tamar was a wonderful guide for our tour of these three beautiful cities and our driver Suso was superb. If all the guides and drivers are this good, this is a must do tour for anyone looking to explore the countrysides surrounding Madrid.

Our tou r guide Benny was great! Very informative and friendly! Take comfortable shoes there is lots of walking but we were never rushed. Beautiful and historical City. A must see in Spain!

Well organized tour with a great guide and safe driver.
