Jordan was our guide and showed my husband and I an amazing experience! It was very personable and we got to experience some delicious food. it offered good. variety into different types of Japanese food, the history behind them as well as parts of Japan. We learned so much! We would highly recommend Arigoto food tours to anyone looking to taste various Japanese foods and learn about the culture here.

Probably the top tour that I'd recommend in Japan.

We're not tour people but we thought since we were traveling with our 8 and 9-year-old sons it might be fun to book a couple of tours on this trip. We booked this one, a fish market tour and a cycling tour of Kyoto. All four of us agreed that this was the best tour. Walking around, trying a bunch of foods, getting informed but not bored to death, this was a fabulous time. Really, just a ton of fun. We never felt rushed.

A Fun and Informative Afternoon!

We had a fabulous time on our food tour! I was with two 12-year-olds and a 6-year-old, and it was FREEZING cold outside, and they were already tired from touring all over the city all day, so I was worried that it might be be a great afternoon. But, our guide was great. She was right on time, she immediately passed out hand warmers for everyone, and she adjusted the schedule so that we were inside and resting enough for the kids. We had great food, which the kids actually totally liked, and we actually learned a lot, even though we've been to Japan many times before. I would absolutely recommend this tour for a family, even with kids as young as 6, as long as they're willing to be a little bit adventurous! We really enjoyed it.
