What People Are Saying About Tiananmen Square

we had a great day with our guide Michael

We spent a wonderful day in Beijing with our guide Michael. He picked us up at our Hotel in time at 8:00 a.m. and his driver brought us to Tiananmen Square and to the Forbidden City. Michael knew a lot about historical backgrounds and answered all our questions. Michael was very polite and friendly and his English was very good. After visiting the Forbidden City, we went to the Great Wall and had a very good lunchbreak in a Chinese restaurant. The view of the Great Wall was amazing! On our way back to Beijing, Michael gave us some very good recommendations regarding our plans for the evening and a very good restaurant serving Beijing duck. All in all, it was a great, very pleasant day. Michael did an excellent job!

It was a great & not too tiring itinerary esp with kids coming along.

The tour guide is very friendly and knowledgeable with the itinerary. Explains very well. Its just a good itinerary, not too heavy perhaps can also include along with Summer Palace and would be just perfect 5 places covered.

Friendly,fun,informative,good food,Great!

Will use you again but wondering why I was charged on my card for a Berlin Trip was shown and not Beijing trip? Please look in to this. Just noticed it this month. that trip was $104 US the Beijing was to be about $35.00 US. Otherwise very nice tour. Lois E. Jensen Busch.

Surprising pleasant day trip from Beijing. No crowds.

Very pleased that we were taken to the "back side" of Badaling and had the Wall mostly to ourselves. Very little reconstruction at the site, and spectacular mountain scenery. Stopped at an upscale jade factory/showroom afterwards for a brief tour and complimentary lunch. Beautiful items for sale, with no pressure to buy. A visit to the Ming Tombs followed, and it might have been more interesting if we had been able to go into the excavated tomb, but did a surface tour of Changling instead. OK, but not all that interesting. Our guide, Ping, was super helpful and knowledgeable, and did her best to make even the relatively mundane interesting. On the way back to Beijing we stopped at a silk factory/showroom for a brief tour and a chance to browse the items for sale. Very nice quality and helpful staff. Again, no high-pressure selling. Persistent, yes, but high-pressure, no! The tour is very reasonably priced, and that's probably due to the 2 shopping stops. Recommended!
