We set sail aboard our boat form Skiathos Port ,cruising on a north-easterly course for the neighboring island of Skopelos. During the sail you will have the chance to admire and take photos from this very green side of the island. Kastani is the beautiful sandy beach where 'Mamma Mia' was filmed in 2007and our first stop of the day. Here you will have the opportunity to swim and sunbath at the crystal clear waters. After sailing for about 25 minutes we will reach Panormos port, where you will have plenty of time to explore the place and eat lunch in one of the numerous taverns. Time to set sail for the last destination of the day and the maybe the most beautiful beach of the island Milia the ideal place to end the day. The boat will be departing from the port of Skiathos , heading off in the direction of Skopelos . You will have the chance to visit the main town of the Island , there will be free time for a walk through the narrow picturesque streets and visit some of the numerous churches. Departing from Skopelos the boat will sail across to Alonissos island. During your stay there you will have the time to to visit the Old Town of Alonissos and to eat lunch in one of the taverns. During the sail to Alonissos island you will have the opportunity to admire apart of the Marine Park and the Blue Caves. The final stop will be at Milia Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches of Skopelos. In the way back hopefully with dolphins company there will be time for photos of 'Mamma Mia' Chapel.

In ancient times, Delphi was considered to be the center of the universe and was guarded by a python dragon that was killed by Apollo. It was also here that the priestess Pythia would foretell the future from the famous Oracle of Delphi. Visit the theater that seated 5,000 spectators and hosted plays, poetry readings, and festivals. At the nearby stadium, the Pythian Games were held every 4 years. Athletes from all over the Greek world would come to compete, and these games would become the predecessor to the modern Olympics. At the end of the day, drive to Kalambaka, a lovely city with beautiful gardens and magnificent views of the Meteora rocks. Overnight in Kalambaka. Day 2 In the morning, head to Meteora for a tour of the fascinating cliff-top monasteries. Be amazed by the cliffs, which average a height of 1,000 feet, and were first inhabited in the 9th century by a group of hermit monks who lived on the rock towers Today 6 monasteries remain out of the original 20. Views of the entire valley from the magnificent rock towers, and the peace of the surroundings, make this a unique place to visit. On the way back to Athens you’ll make a short stop at the monument to Leonidas, the King of Sparta who died in 480 B.C. at the famous Battle of Thermopylae.

Start your day as you hop into a comfortable van and head towards the West Coast of the island. Cross and visit the Chapel of St. John (Ioannis), also known as the Mamma Mia wedding church.  Once arrived enjoy some free time and walk up the 199 steps to the top and get into the movie feeling or simply enjoy the stunning views and the cooling sea breeze from the top of the rock. The second stop is at Kastani beach for more in-depth film information and some relaxation at the new Kastani beach bar. See the place where major filming took place for more than 10 days and admire this beautiful beach proved to be the perfect film location. Next, stop at Agnontas beach and swim in the crystal-clear waters or choose to enjoy lunch in one of the beaches tavernas.  Pass by another film location called “Three Trees” on your way back to Skopelos Town.

At approximately 10:45 AM, the train will stop at Paleofarsalos, where you will need to get off and take the connecting bus that will continue the journey to Kalambaka. Upon arrival at the Kalambaka train station you will meet your tour guide who will be holding a sign with your name on it. Please note that your transfer from Athens (Larisis railway station) to Palaiofarsalos railway station is by train, but from Palaiofarsalos to Kalambaka the transfer is temporarily by an elevated air-conditioned bus of Hellenic Train. Throughout the tour, there will also be an optional food break of about 30 minutes where you can enjoy traditional greek food, before continuing the road to the monasteries. Finally, the tour ends around 4:45, you will have a break of 20-25 minutes before your bus arrives at the train station and your day ends around 22:00 with your return to Athens.
