Full description

Immerse yourself in Rhodes Island's natural attractions on a day trip to the Valley of the Butterflies and Seven Springs Valley. Enjoy enough time to explore on your own, eat at the restaurant, take photos, and hike along the paths. Relax with your transportation taken care of for you.

Climb aboard the comfortable bus in Rhodes and relax as you're whisked away to your first stop: the Valley of the Butterflies. Enjoy 2 hours to explore on your own. Observe the Panaxia Quatripunktaria butterflies as you stroll along the rustic paths weaving beside the Pelekanos River.

As you explore, take photos next to the waterfalls and wooden bridges. Enhance your experience by visiting the little natural history museum or hiking to the very top of the valley to take in some great panoramic views next to the Kalopetra Monastery. Enjoy the fantastic photo opportunities.

Then, drive through the scenic countryside to the East Coast. Spend 1 hour and 45 minutes exploring the magical Valley of Seven Springs, enjoying the greenery and the lovely climate. Rest in the open-air cafe-restaurant overlooking the clear springs. Marvel at the enormous plane and pine trees.

If you're feeling adventurous, walk through a unique narrow tunnel to reach an artificial lake with an impressive dam and a waterfall. Finally, return to the coach for your journey back to your pickup point in Rhodes.

Der Fahrer war sehr pünktlich und super freundlich. Das Schmetterlingstal ist einen Besuch wert und man hat ausreichend Zeit vor Ort. Die 7 Quellen jedoch bestehen bereits seit Jahren nicht mehr! Die einzige "Sehenswürdigkeit" ist der künstlich angelegte Staudamm wodurch sich der Wasserfall ergibt, den man zu Fuß durch den schmalen, dunklen Tunnel erreichen kann. Leider waren sehr viele Touristen auf der Suche nach den 7 Quellen. Niemand wollte zugeben, dass sie nicht mehr existieren. Vielleicht wegen dem Restaurant vor Ort, dem sonst die Kunden fehlen. Dazu hätte ich die Bewertungen auf Trip Advisor vorher lesen müssen. Die 7 Quellen kann man sich also leider sparen.

Es hat echt alles super geklappt, wir wurden zur angegebenen Zeit am vereinbarten Abholort abgeholt sind dann zum Schmetterlingstal gefahren haben kurze Anweisung bekommen, wann wir wieder zurück sein sollen und durften dann los. Der Flyer war auch top, so konnten wir alle Spots mitnehmen. Es waren wenige Schmetterlinge da, aber darauf hat der Anbieter ja kein Einfluss. Die sieben Quellen waren im Paket dabei sonst wären dir da gar nicht bin aber auch hier ebenso richtig gut, auch wieder mit kurzer Anweisung - dann durften wir los. Das Restaurant da ist empfehlenswert - gute Preise, gutes Essen und on top auch noch Pfauen gesehen. Zum Abschluss haben wir ein Eis aufs Haus bekommen. Die Fahrt zum Abholort zurück war auch alles super. Meine Empfehlung sind auf jeden Fall (wie in der Ausflugsbeschreibung auch) feste Schuhe und Trinkwasser mitzunehmen. Alles in Allem guter Preis für den ganzen Tag. War meine erster Auslauf mit GetYourGuide und würde es wieder buchen.

I liked the activity’s, there was just enough time for each. There was a tunnel on the seven springs trip, filled with water and you can walk through this so I would recommend taking some wet shoes unless you don’t mind going bare foot! Tour guide was great and efficient:)
