Between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel in Punta Cana and we will be on our way to Santo Domingo. First, after meeting with the tour guide, we will visit the spectacular Los Tres Ojos grotto to see the famous freshwater lakes and its spectacular cave. Are they hiding a secret? We will find out! Afterwards, we will walk around the lighthouse of Columbus, where it is said that the remains of the navigator are located. The next stop will be outside the Presidential Palace. We will observe the façade of this large-scale neoclassical architectural complex and continue our visit through the historic center of the city, the beautiful Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo! We will enter the temple of Santa María de La Encarnación, the First Cathedral of America and the oldest in the continent, to learn the secrets it hides. We will travel back in time as we walk along the Calle de las Damas, where we will see the first stone house built in the new world. We will visit inside the National Pantheon where the remains of illustrious historical figures of the Dominican Republic rest. We will continue walking through the Plaza de España to see its beautiful terraces, from which there is an impressive view of the Ozama River. On this esplanade rises the famous Alcazar de Colon, the former residence of the admiral, and you will not stop taking pictures while we visit its interior! We will also visit a souvenir store and learn about the semi-precious stone Larimar, the perfect place to buy a nice Caribbean souvenir! Did you know that the Dominican Republic is the only mine in the world where this semi-precious stone can be found? Afterwards, we will leave you free time to have a coffee, stroll along El Conde Street or enjoy this beautiful environment full of squares and historic buildings. Afterwards, we will replenish our strength with a delicious buffet lunch with typical dishes such as rice, meat stew and beans. With renewed energy, we will head to the Malecon to end the tour with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea from the capital. We will conclude by taking you back to your hotel, where arrival is scheduled between 18:00 and 19:30.

Our adventure commences at 8:00 a.m. when we convene at the meeting point for a 50-minute drive from Santo Domingo. En route, relish scenic landscapes while enjoying the amazing road views and engaging conversations about the island's history and the Dominican Republic's remarkable sites. Upon arrival at the waterfall, Doña Ramona awaits to craft a traditional Dominican lunch over charcoal, a culinary heritage harking back to the 1900s. Following a 15-minute to access the hidden waterfall, we will explore, capture photos, and bask in nature's splendor for roughly 2.5 hours. We will then return to our starting point for lunch, relaxation, and the journey back to Santo Domingo, with a pit stop at The Three Eyes Cave to delve into its historical significance as a monument to nature, previously cherished by the Taino Indians. Our adventure concludes with a return to the meeting point.

From there, we can go see the Columbus Lighthouse or the Museum of Modern Art, but the cultural options are countless among its streets.
