You will begin in central Oxford, with a brief and engaging introduction which will lay the foundation for the vast periods of history to be covered! Then the tour will enter a college renowned for having the most beautiful lawns in Oxford along with an iconic dispute with its neighbour - resulting in a supposed theft of the College tortoise (Oxford Annual Tortoise Race explanation included!). The tour will then go to Christ Church meadows - a stunning expanse of land incredibly rare in a medieval city. Here you will learn about its close connection to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland - along with its decision to be held to a different time zone than the rest of Oxford. Finally, the tour will enter one of the most lavish, and famous Colleges of all those at Oxford University; Christ Church. Famed for its literally links, and scenes used in the filming of Harry Potter; it is such an iconic site that many mistake it for representing the entire University. Wonder through the dining hall which inspired that used in Hogwarts, and see where some of the greatest philosophers, writers and royalty have studied. Located in former aircraft hangars in Leavesden, the attraction recreates the magic of Harry Potter and all your favourite characters. Then, visit Oxford and explore the Divinity School. Board the original "Hogwarts Express" train at a recreation of Platform 9¾, and explore the inside of the train carriage featured in the films. Take a selfie with a luggage trolley as it disappears through the station's brick wall. Discover the magic of Harry Potter on a guided tour of Oxford. Visit filming locations from the movies, including the Bodleian Library, New College, and Christ Church. Start your tour at the Bodleian Library, which was used as the hospital wing of Hogwarts. See where key scenes such as Harry's recovery in "The Philosopher's Stone" and the dance lesson in "The Goblet of Fire" were filmed. Learn about the library's history, as the oldest university building in Oxford, used for theological discussions since the 15th century. Next, head to New College, which was the setting for the halls of Hogwarts, where Harry is ridiculed with badges that say "Potter sucks" in "Goblet of Fire." Inside New College, see a 200-year-old oak tree, under which Malfoy is transformed into a ferret by Moody. Finally, visit Christ Church, where the stairs were used in McGonagall's welcome to Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Although Hogwarts' Great Hall was inspired by Christ Church's dining hall, it was not filmed there. See the dining room, which is still used by students who dine there every day.

Meet your guide outside Oxford's famous Ashmolean Museum with its fine collections of art and artefacts and start your walking tour. Pass by the Martyr's Memorial, dedicated to the Oxford Martyrs, and sop in Broad Street, close to where the old city wall used to be. From here you begin to expand your knowledge about the history of the University.  Get a chance to visit a typical college of the university with its quaint quadrangles and see how the students live and work. Continue your tour and pass by the Sheldonian Theatre, the University's ceremonial hall and then head to the quaint Bridge of Sighs.  Enjoy some time for a photo in front of the bridge and before visiting the Old Schools Quadrangle of the Bodleian Library, where Harry Potter was filmed.  Stop at charming Radcliffe Square with its cobblestones and the splendid Radcliffe Camera. See several colleges in this area before the tour continues to Christ Church Meadows. Marvel at the location of Christ Church College, where Alice in Wonderland was inspired and Harry Potter was filmed.  Walk back towards the Carfax Crossroads, the very centre of the city and have a chance to window-shop as you walk through Oxford's Victorian Covered Market. Your tour finishes in the Cornmarket, giving you an opportunity to enjoy lunch in one of Oxford's pubs, cafes or restaurants or to explore the shops in the Covered Market or the modern Westgate Centre.
