City Canal Cruise - great relaxing tour through the canals of the Hague During this cruise we were told of the history of the Hague (or the city of Peace and Justice), shown different sides from the posh to working class, the guide was knowledgeable and the tour was very interesting Totally worth the £12.68 I paid! As I understood they try to fill in the boat and it can hold up to 30 people! Better buy tickets online (I bought it on getyourguide) - so you get to sit on the boat first (they call out the names, so no need to queue ), those who bought tickets in their office just opposite the pier - boarded last, so you know! We passed over 30 bridges, some of them were very low and we had to duck many times, and if you are claustrophobic - one bridge was 103m in width, we went for about 4mins underneath it in the dark with our heads to the bottom as it was also very low, I felt like I was burried alive ‍♀️

We enjoyed the guide with his stories about The Hague and its inhabitants! As a former resident of the Hague, I still heard a number of new things worth knowing. It is a pity that we could not enter the Zeeheldenkwartier due to construction work on a bridge, but that was neatly solved by an alternative route. And chapeau to the helmsman, the sometimes right-angled bends were taken very skillfully!

cozy relaxed atmosphere on board and at the same time very helpful where necessary and a good guide who told a good story about The Hague in a natural way. The cooperation between the guide and the skipper was also coordinated.
