Today we had a fantastic day with our tour guide Rema. We were picked up at our hotel at 9 am and taken to the starting point in Tetebatu. On the way we learned a lot about the culture of Lombok thanks to Rema. Very nice and friendly tour guide who knows a lot and is very funny! From the starting point we left for the rice fields, to the Duran Waterfall and the Monkey Forest. This was a very nice tour with a lot of beautiful nature and nice information about the area. In between we swam at the waterfall so we could cool down. Actually the original tour was over now, but Rema wanted to show us more of the culture and of Lombok. We also went to a women's community where they make traditional sarongs. In the meantime Rema had also invited us to his and his family's home to enjoy a dinner that his wife would cook. We were very hospitably received with a tour of his home, with delicious home-made food from his wife and lots of fun. If you want a perfect day, we definitely recommend it!

Aan is the BEST Driver! He is so nice, has very good conversation, teach us a lot about the culture from lombok. Any unforeseen situation we had he solved quickly, always willing to help and make our trip more pleasant. We would repeat with him without doubt. Totally recomended. And Tetebatu is such a beautifull place with beautifull people!! Thank you Aan :)
