Full description
Your tour will begin as you depart from the pickup point early in the morning. From there you will head towards the 3rd-highest volcano in the world, the Teide, where you can marvel at its 3,700 meters of altitude and the lunar landscape that surrounds it. You will be able to walk through this place and discover more about its formation and life in its surroundings. Following this, you will descend to sea level to contemplate another geological wonder of this island, the "cliffs of the giants". These cliffs form a wall of 600 meters that rises above the ocean creating an image that will be sure to inspire you. You will then enjoy some free time to eat on your own or bathe at the foot of this spectacular natural wall, before continuing towards the Masca Valley. Your bus will take you along a narrow road that runs between the cliffs and ravines that characterize this valley, and that also, according to legend, made it a perfect hiding place for pirates. You will stop there to take some pictures before continuing to the last stop, Garachico. This municipality was the main fishing and commercial port of the island after the conquest of the Catholic Monarchs, up until its complete destruction in 1706 by the eruption of the Trevejo Volcano. Nowadays, its cobbled streets and its characteristic architecture invite you to visit it, and you can learn more about this beautiful place from the hand of your guide before returning to the south of the island.

We were in a small group and had a wonderful guide who gave us a lot of information about the geology of the island and about the country and its people.

Great trip and guide stopped often for sightseeing and some story telling. Amazing to be able to sit in a van and not to worry about driving.
