What People Are Saying About Tenerife

Excellent well organised hike, although quite challenging in places

Really enjoyed the day and the hike. It was a little more challenging than expected, mostly due to having to climb down over large boulders and cross over slippery rocks. You need to be really careful in some areas especially towards the bottom. It would have been nice to have more time in Masca village and Los Gigantes

Well organised trip on a tough but rewarding trek

Bus collected us right in time. Guides were great, giving lots of advice and encouragement along the way. Trek went at a comfortable pace and plenty of time for Photos or swimming. Boat trip back to los gigantes was quick and fun and quick bus ride back. Bus driver was amazing navigating the road to Masca!

La Gomera is a pearl, great guiding like all the places we wisited

We recomend this tour, La Gomera is wery intresting and beutifull island, the guided tour was great and especially to hear silbo used at the restaurant we had our lunch. The trip on the ferry was nice, full of dance and music if you wanted or just to enjoy wiew and the nice weather. Every "euro" worth.

Fascinating, informative and interesting

With the guide we were very lucky! It was very interesting, a lot of useful information, fun and easy to talk to. It was very tasty real Canarian lunch and fun entertainment during dinner.

Very enjoyable hike! Beware of the heat though (oh ye of the North)

The hike: A largely technical (4.5 of the 5 miles were basically on no proper path, up and down boulders) hike down the ravine that is by no means a breeze, but is not too difficult either. Requires above average fitness though, if you intend to do this trip in the summer and are not used to Celsius temperatures in the 30s, as the heat at the bottom of the ravine under the sun can be stifling and cause exhaustion pretty quickly. I learned this the hard way, coming from average home temperature of 10C and literally stumbling to the beach at the end of the trip. All the same, landscape was breathtaking! The excursion: Trip was well-organized. Bus on time, generally everything on schedule. Two guides, both fluent in German and English (a German-speaking crowd, with myself being the only English-speaking person) and courteous enough to give all instructions and information in both languages. The company, Diga Sports, provided trekking shoes and equipment free of charge.
