It was amazing we saw Mount Teide in the national park, then drove to Masca, then Costa Adeje. then back to Puerto Del La Cruz where we started. The guide Kai was a gem he was so kind and funny, I had a wonderful time. He was always explaining the place, buildings, history of volcanic events, and other things such as the wildfire that happened a year ago and its effects on the trees and area. He was so knowledgeable ♥️♥️ We went to have a dinner too, which was included. We had a total of 5 people including me and the guide. So a small group 👍 I highly recommend it because you get to see the volcano from a nice distance away, and get to see the most popular towns and areas to see and visit (we went to see the Dragon Tree also). HIGHLY recommend they are so nice and they offer the guides in many languages.
Excellent trip with Neil from pickup to drop off. Neil really knows his stuff and his passion for the island and its history is clear. Given its status as a world heritage site, the Teide caldera doesn’t need me to tell you how unbelievably beautiful it is. The drive to and from Masca is also a once in a lifetime experience. The scale of the scenery is relentless and breath taking. Our trip was a washout after the delicious local lunch but that added to the experience in my opinion. Being Scottish, it was a novelty to experience a non freezing downpour and be wet and warm at the same time! Traffic issues on the return leg due to the heavy rain but Neil kept us entertained the whole time and it certainly didn’t retract from an amazing tour. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in the geological, geographical, sociological and archeological aspects of this beautiful island. Vehicle was clean and comfortable. All in, a must do activity when visiting Tenerife. Thanks!
