What to Expect
Join this fascinating 2-hour Segway tour of Jaffa and Tel Aviv to get a different perspective of the history and architecture of the cities. The tour begins at the ancient port of Jaffa, where you will get a short briefing sesssion on how to drive the easy-to-use, eco-friendly vehicles.
Set off past the Ha Tachana, Jaffa’s old railway station, newly renovated to create one of Tel Aviv’s most attractive public spaces. Continue to the Neve Shalom district, located just outside Jaffa’s old city walls. You will pass the Beit Bialik, where Israel's national poet Chaim Nahman Bialik lived, and now a charming museum that recreates the writer’s life. Glide down the streets of Neve Tzedek, the first Jewish neighborhood built outside Jaffa’s walls.
Admire the Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theater, the house of Aharon Chlouche, founding father of Neve Tzedek, and the Nahum Gutman Museum. Pass the historic Eden Cinema, and observe Tel Aviv’s famous Bauhaus architecture, encapsulating the olden days of Tel Aviv, especially along Rothschild Boulevard as it comes alive at sunset.
