The lava tube, formed by the volcano La Corona, is one of the longest and most interesting in the world. The massive lava flows, which at the time flowed towards the sea, cooled rapidly at the surface while the magma below flowed further. When the eruptions ceased, the remains flowed out, leaving tunnels and cavities at different levels, which together reach a height of 40 meters and go far into the sea. Jameos del Agua See the two caves that are part of one of the longest lava tubes on earth. The artist Cesar Manrique creatively and tastefully designed this section of the tunnel to create a harmony between art and nature. Here, you will find a restaurant, a concert hall, and a small lake with a direct connection to the sea. The lake is also home to small white blind crabs, which can be seen with the naked eye and are usually found only in waters more than 2,000 meters below the sea.

We did the fire mountains tour with our 4 year old and it was the perfect length for all of us to enjoy. 3 stops and an amazingly skilled drive round the Luna route of Timanfaya National Park. Our tour guide Erich not only mastered speaking 3 languages but was so welcoming and funny. He made a real fuss of our daughter and I think he made her trip! Thanks Erich!

A great way to see the best places on the island without having to book and drive a car on your own. Very impressive and informative, we liked it a lot. Great value for money.
