Enjoy a full-day tour from Launceston to Cradle Mountain via Sheffield, "The town of Murals". Enjoy the beautiful 2-3-hour Dove Lake Circuit walk, and admire the spectacular surrounding scenery. If time allows, enjoy a tasting at the Chudleigh Honey Farm.
What to Expect
Your tour begins directly at your hotel with a pick-up arranged in advance.
The first stop of the tour is Cradle Mountain via the small Topiary Township of Railton. As you travel through this intricate place, admire the many topiaries underway and in various stages of growth and learn about their construction and maintenance.
The tour then continues with a visit to Sheffield, or "the town of murals" as it is known. The pretty town looks like an outdoor art gallery and holds a stunning view of Mount Roland as a backdrop.
The next stop on the tour is to Cradle Mountain for a walk around the picturesque Dove Lake. Later that afternoon , make your way back through Mole Creek and Chudleigh and stop for some delicious honey tasting at the Honey Pot in Chudleigh for some great fudge tasting at SILK.
You well then be taken directly back to your accommodations in Launceston at about 17:30.
