Strahan: World Heritage Cruise on Gordon River with Lunch
- Duration: 6 hours
Highly recommend. The 4 hour luncheon cruise was super fun. The crew was amazing, especially the captain who provided such interesting anecdotes and information about the different locations we were passing (I must say, you will be giggling half the time with the way he guides us throughout the cruise). They served light breakfast (of cookies and muffins) with tea and coffee, followed by a light lunch which was quite tasty too, some cheese and fruit at the end. Not to forget, you get to do a bit of wine tasting with gorgeous views. Thanks for a memorable experience team!
Our experience on the boat was beyond belief. I have waited for three years to see Tasman Island, the landing and The Blade. The guides took me to exactly where I needed to be to witness them all up so close. I cannot believe how close I was to the surface of The Southern Ocean - close enough to see a pod of more than one hundred dolphins swim around and under the boat. Close enough to see baby seals and their mothers. Close enough to almost touch wandering albatross on the wing. Unbelievable!
We had an excellent day out on the Tasman Sea. The weather was perfect, the ocean was perfect. We saw hundreds of dolphins and we lucky enough to be able to see the seals up close. The staff were great, very friendly and informative and a great lunch too. Highly recommend this cruise. Thanks for a great day
Incredible day sightseeing!! Was the perfect opportunity to learn more about the coast. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend this tour for anyone who is looking for a thrilling adventure.
Alex, our guide & driver has a wealth of knowledge of Tassie including the Italian migrants in Tasmania. He arrived on time to pick me up at my accommodation & was always ready to help.
