It was nice overall! We spent the night in a very nice hotel where the staff prepared very nice food. I also appreciated that the meals were homecooked and brought in pots with real cuttlery (no plastic involved!) and it was always delicious. The safari car was comfortable, it had electricity and enough space. I recommend the activity if you want to do these safaris in Tanzania. Asante sana!

As well as the herds of elephant Tarangire is home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle while gerenuk and fringe-eared Oryx are 'local specialties'. Lake Burungi's marshy shores are the lure for these mammals and the waters attract many beautiful bird species, too.
