I was skeptical when I saw the negative reviews but on the contrary I had an AWESOME time and I thought this trip was well worth the cost, considering they cover the transportation and meal, and they include many unique stops like the Herculus Cave and camels etc. My guides were extremely nice, and I thought the Moroccan meal was delicious. During the afternoon I found the carpet show and the pharmacy show to be entertaining, even though they are trying to sell you things. We had half an hour free time to shop at the end of the day. Obviously it was very tiring since it's a long day, but if you went by yourself or with another tour you'd still have to deal with a long bus ride, it's just part of the experience of trying to go from Spain to Morocco. As a solo traveler I wouldn't have been able to travel Tangier by myself, so I am very glad I booked this tour. I think if you go in with an open mind and REASONABLE expectations you will have a good time.
The concept and idea is great but a lot of time is spend on immigration formalities. It took around 5 hours in the bus and 2 hours in ferry. Immigration another 2 hours. The rest of the time was spend in the excursion. The journey by bus and ferry was pleasant. The Spanish guide was lazy, while the Tangier guide Hassan was absolutely amazing! Overall it was a great day spend and kids enjoyed it too!
The trip was great other than the fact the tickets said 0750 and it didn’t arrive until 0920 which we only found out after we called while waiting for ages and the other group of people waiting had no clue about this either. So definitely call before the day to confirm the time as that was so annoying. Other than that it was fab and would thoroughly recommend
Excellent 6 hour tour. Everything was worth seeing. Comfortable, went at our own pace, not rushed. When we were drawn to something, the guide gave us the freedom to explore, or we could ask to see something and he took us there, such as a beautiful Jewish Synagogue down a tiny alley in the Médina which we never would have found on our own.
When we finally arrived there it was fantastic experience ... it took 5 hours, the guide was late showing up, then the ferry was so unorganized and time consuming, unbelievable really. But we had to laugh ( rather than cry) ! It was well worth the wait though.
