Meet your driver at the Tangier Port or at your hotel in Tangier and head towards the archeological site of Lixus. This site dates back to the Phoenician period and was a noteworthy port for the Romans. Lixus was settled by the Phoenicians in the seventh century BC and was later annexed by Carthage.
After leaving Lixus, head to Rabat, where you will begin your guided tour through the city.
