    A Moroccan port town in the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier is a character-filled place to spend a few days. Once a playground of hippies and hustlers, the destination has completely cleaned up its act, and now offers sightseeing and world-class tourism alongside excellent amenities.

      Located inside the Medina, the American Legation was the first US-owned property outside the United States. A museum of sorts, it commemorates the US/Moroccan relationship.

      There are a number of souks in Tangier, where you can buy leather goods, furniture, clothing, and ornamental objects for excellent value, as long as you're happy to barter! Start lower than you intend to pay, and laugh off a vendor's original price--tourists will always be charged a huge markup. But if you're brave, hold your nerve and bring change, you'll be amazed what you can buy for 10 dirham!

      As a port town, Tangier is a popular day trip or excursion destination from Cadiz, Gibraltar, or mainland Spain. Check ferry times and destinations before you travel.

    With only a few days in in Tangier I had hoped to see its sites and learn a bit about the city but after taking this tour not only were these goals met in full but I also experienced the character and soul of this wonderful place. Omar brought to life the history, the culture and the heart of these wonderful people. We were picked up in a modern, clean, Mercedes van at our hotel for the trip to Asilah and Cape Spartel feeling comfortable and safe at all times with Monsif’s driving. Later we had a delightful traditional lunch at a local restaurant in Tangier. The meal was inexpensive and very good. In the afternoon we continued in Tangier from the Medina to the hills overlooking the city with its beautiful views. The tour was in English which Omar had a perfect command and was very accommodating to mold the tour to our tastes and interests. I have been on many tours around the world and this ranks as one of the best. I would recommend him and this tour to anyone.

    The concept and idea is great but a lot of time is spend on immigration formalities. It took around 5 hours in the bus and 2 hours in ferry. Immigration another 2 hours. The rest of the time was spend in the excursion. The journey by bus and ferry was pleasant. The Spanish guide was lazy, while the Tangier guide Hassan was absolutely amazing! Overall it was a great day spend and kids enjoyed it too!

    Had a wonderful excursion and day with Omar! Him and syed went above and beyond in all aspects. Could not recommend this tour more. They were attentive and ensured we felt safe and comfortable at all times - particularly being two young women travelling. Also highly knowledgeable with the tour and all of Morocco, and were approachable regarding any questions we had

    My wife and I had terrific experience visiting Chefchaouen from Tangier. Our tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly, we had great conversations during the trip - Thank you Tahir for this great experience! The country side trip was pleasurable, Morocco is very beautiful country, 'Haouen is must see and experience while in Morocco.

    When we finally arrived there it was fantastic experience ... it took 5 hours, the guide was late showing up, then the ferry was so unorganized and time consuming, unbelievable really. But we had to laugh ( rather than cry) ! It was well worth the wait though.
