What is Estonian cuisine - Nordic with a twist, a touch from Russian kitchen and a bit of German? Take a glimpse into its surprisingly vivid culinary scene during our Tallinn Food Tour. You’ll have 7-8 food & wine-stops combined with strolls in Tallinn.
What to Expect
During this 3 hour food tour you will get the first impression on the variety of culinary scene in Estonia, where it came and where is it heading for, along with stories and legends told by your professional tour guide.

On each stop, you will have a taste of some local traditional and modern food and some drinks. At first food stop there is being served a pumpkin & parsnip soup along with a shot of Pepper & Honey Schnapps. Further you’ll stop at local eco-food store, there are several tasting stations where you’ll have a chance to taste either local smoked elk or/and wild boar meat, local jams, mustard, cheese, bread, some liqueur (if wished so). Further on, the food stops contain Estonian black bread in modern form, served along with local pesto sauces, accompanied by a tasting of local home-made beer (prod. of small brewery). Further you’ll stop at the oldest continuously working pharmacy in Europe and will have a chance to taste some sweets prepared by the recipe dating back to 15th century. You will a chance to taste traditional Estonian spiced sprats sandwiches, served along with national drink "Kama".
