We meet at 5:45 am at the Papeete marina, and leave the dock at 6 am, where the local breakfast awaits you! Local Viennese pastries, fresh fruit, coffee or tea. After a 2-hour crossing, we start to catch sight of the island. An hour later we're there, and the dinghy landing on the island begins. Once disembarked, the hostess begins her guided walk to Bird Island, where the history and legends of Tetiaroa will no longer hold any secrets for you! You're free to explore the island, take photos, swim, sunbathe or take a siesta. Then it's back to the boat, where lunch awaits you: raw fish with Tahitian-style coconut milk, hot rice, tuna marinated on the barbecue with fruit juices, water and cold drinks. Climb into an open-sided 4x4 vehicle for a trip around the volcanic island on rugged mountain roads. Following the north-east road, we will drive to impressive valley of three waterfalls, to get immersed into the atmosphere of old legends of Tiarei area and take pictures in front of big Faarumai waterfall. We will visit famous Arohoho blow hole, where the waves crash against the rugged coastline, water is forced through an underwater tunnel, creating a dramatic spray that shoots high into the air. Great trip. Well organized, our guide was really very friendly and answered all questions and also told so much about the island and the inhabitants.

Unique experience! I recommend taking it on this page since it is much more expensive in hotels.
