Explore the Blue Mountains on the outskirts of Sydney and discover one of the Australia’s most iconic landscapes. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and seek out kangaroos and other marsupials. Enjoy a delicious lunch of local produce, and more.
What to Expect
Depart Sydney for a full-day eco tour of the Blue Mountains, and cross the Great Dividing Range, the 3rd longest land-based mountain range in the world.

Heading west across the coastal plain, make your way to the Great Dividing Range to leave the “average” Blue Mountains tourist behind. Enter the National Park and continue to the Euroka Clearing to unlock a piece of Australia you would never have known existed.

Drop into a hidden valley to seek out the kangaroos that sometimes graze in the bush, and enjoy a refreshing cup of homemade tea. Next, visit some scenic lookouts for panoramic vistas of the Blue Mountains, including the Kings Tableland Aboriginal Site, before visiting the quaint village of Leura.

Skirt around Cliff Drive to Katoomba, where you will find yourself looking out over the magnificent Jamieson Valley and world renowned Three Sisters from Eagle Hawk Lookout.

Enjoy a fine lunch of local food and wines in the heart of the Blue Mountains, before driving to the scenic Evan’s Lookout for more gorgeous Blue Mountains views. Finish the day with a short walk at stunning Wentworth Falls. Then, relax on the drive back to Sydney, with a stop at the site of the 2000 Olympics, time permitting.
