What to Expect
Over 60 years ago, Jorn Utzon, a young Danish architect, designed what is now considered one of the greatest buildings of all time. The Sydney Opera House is a work of art that came in existence against impossible odds and went on to become one of the busiest performing arts centers in the world, putting the city on the map forever.

On this 3-hour program, you’ll tour the Sydney Opera House, experiencing the history and magic of the venue as you follow your friendly guide underneath the sails and into the UNESCO World Heritage masterpiece.

The Opera House features 1,000 rooms, 300 corridors, and hundreds of tales and secrets. Step inside the inspired theaters where more than 1,600 performances come to life each year, and get ready for an unforgettable Opera Australia performance.

This includes a tasting plate at the Opera Kitchen, an indoor-outdoor gourmet cafe on the lower level of the opera house plaza, where you can relax on the patio before or after your tour and enjoy spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and the Harbour Bridge. The 3-tier tasting plate includes dishes such as sushi, plank-roasted salmon, mini wagyu and chicken burgers, dumplings and fries. You may purchase cocktails, beer or perhaps of glass of Australian wine to accompany your food (own expense).

Alternatively you can book the tour and opera option only if you are short on time.
