Day 1 - Four Valleys

Starting no later then 07:45 to avoid the traffic, you're straight off to Australia's own Grand Canyon for a eventful day packed with close encounters, vistas, and walks. En route, cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and pass the Sydney 2000 Olympic Stadium before enjoying morning tea with wild kangaroos deep in the Australian bush. See kangaroos up-close plus friendly parrots, and cockatoos. In the high Blue Mountains, you'll see waterfalls, magnificent canyons, and Australia's most famous sight - the remarkable 3 Sisters in addition to wild kangaroos and an abundance of local birds. Go on circuit walks (approximately 1 to 2-hours, pending on the your agility and the weather) to discover the true beauty of the lush Jamison and the dramatic Grose Valleys. After lunch in the majestic Megalong, have a taste of the Jackaroo lifestyle and enjoy the country atmosphere (and see wild kangaroos) of Hartley Vale Valley before settling in your hotel for the night in Blackheath - a quaint historic village that has kept its old charm and character of a Blue Mountains town.

Accommodation: Comfort Red Leaf Inn in Blackheath

Day 2 - Fruit & Wine

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel (included), you'll be meandering your way through New South Wales fruit growing region, the Hawkesbury and the Wollemi wilderness, via the Bells Line of Road and Putty Road. However, not without stopping for morning coffee and apple pie at Bilpin. Arrive in the Hunter wine country to sample some superb Hunter Shiraz and Semillon before arriving at your hotel in the vineyards - the Potters Hotel & Brewery.

Accommodation: the Potters Hotel & Brewery in Nulkaba

Day 3

After breakfast, head for Anna Bay at Port Stephens. Here, you'll board a 4WD for a short but adventurous beach tour along the sand dunes of Stockton Beach, an incredible eco-system stretching from Newcastle 32 kilometers north to Anna Bay. A spot of sandboarding down the impressive sand dunes awaits you. Working up an appetite is a refreshing hike up to the Head Summit of Tomaree NP. This magnificent backdrop to the coastal towns and villages of Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Boat Harbor, and Anna Bay is the only place in New South Wales where you can see outcrops of the acid volcanic rock rhyodacite. From Tomaree Head Summit, you'll enjoy gorgeous views over Port Stephens, the coast and Broughton, Cabbage Tree, and Boondelbah Islands nature reserves. Keep your eyes out for koalas dozing high in the trees. After a seafood lunch, board the dolphin watching vessel and see the dolphins play on the bow waves. During the summer, some may even like to swim in the boom nets off the back of the boat and get personal with the resident bottle nose marine mammals. Return to Sydney and your hotel in the early evening after an amazing three days of sightseeing and touring.
