This was really entertaining, think WWE. Firstly the food was better than expected ~ very good, individual hot pots of tasty broth, veg, tofu and meat plus fried chicken and one drink included. Vegetarian option was available but I imagine you need to book in advance. You can order more drinks including alcohol at a reasonable price. The show starts while you eat with a geisha musical number, you're able to take individual photos with her after. Then the two sumo guys come out and demonstrate the basic moves explained by the MC in English. They 'fight' 3 rounds with plenty of flair. Lots of photo ops. After that the audience is invited to challenge, we had 16 challenges from a 6ft6in bearded Scandinavian to a tiny 7yr old in glasses alongside his mother... too cute! The sumo were so playful and gentle with every one of the audience members and posed for lots of photos after. And included is one print for your group with sumo&geisha. Then off to the Skytree after. Highly recommended.

I like everything! For the prize that was paid, I received yummy lunch which includes 1 drink, lovely Japanese traditional dancer, sumo presentation, a chance to wrestle with a sumo, picture with the sumo and dancer at the end... oh and you get a souvenir goodie bag on your way out PLUS you get the picture with a paper frame for free! My payment worth every penny. Thank you for the great experience!

This was the highlight of our Japan trip. The sumo’s had wonderful entertaining personalities and I absolutely loved the opportunity to get in the ring, as did all my friends and family who watched the video I posted of it. Enjoyed the geisha dancing too. The food was delicious and brought out promptly and the photo was terrific !

Perfect tourist experience for Sumo. Campy, yes, but not sure most tourists would appreciate a true Sumo practice session or match. 1.5-2 hours, hearty Japanese meal & drinks.

Entertaining and informative on a surface level of the culture, while the meal is enjoyable and filling. Highly recommended.
