The Story Bridge Climb provides the best 360-degree panoramic view of Brisbane city from the heart and soul of Brisbane’s most iconic landmark – the Story Bridge. Your adventure begins at base camp, directly under the Story Bridge itself. After a quick pre-climb brief, you’ll depart the base and ascend a staircase that leads to the start of your adventure. Discover Brisbane from the water with this river cruise complete with lunch at one of the city's most popular eateries. Departing from South Bank, set out on a 3.5-hour cruise and lunch experience to explore some of Brisbane's most important sights. During your cruise, see sights such as the South Bank Parklands, Kangaroo Point Cliffs, Story Bridge, New Farm Park, and the Brisbane riverside homes. The sights will be accompanied by an informative commentary about the region as well as a morning tea to satisfy your onboard cravings. The morning cruise will last for 45 minutes until you reach your first port of call. Arrive at the Newstead House Public Pontoon and after a short walk from the landing dock enjoy a delicious meal at the Breakfast Creek Hotel. From here, you will once again board the boat to cruise back to the dock at South Bank within the luscious Parklands.

We will start the tour at the Fig Tree Pocket Boat Ramp. Here you will find us ready to go over our pontoon briefing. After everyone is up to speed on how to manoeuvre and handle the skis safely we will head off from the pontoon up the Brisbane River towards the city. We'll shortly arrive at the famous Story Bridge where we will take some great photos and enjoy the spectacular views of the city’s skyline before returning home. Leaving the botanic gardens we drive down Alice St onto the Riverside Expressway and make our way to the Gabba, Brisbane's main cricket ground and stadium. We circle around the Gabba and turn onto Main St, driving to the Kangaroo Point Cliffs Lookout, a great place for breathtaking views of Brisbane, its skyscrapers and the Brisbane River below. Plenty of time for some great photos here. Driving on Brisbane's most iconic and heritage listed bridge allows one to appreciate just how big this city is. The Story Bridge is the longest cantilever bridge in Australia. A quick stop at the Visitor Information Centre at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens will give you a great overview of Brisbane and its offerings. A great opportunity for a toilet break and photo session as you explore the surrounding paths and attractions. The final destination and grand finale of the tour is the Mt Coot-Tha Lookout where you can see Brisbane in all its glory. Great place to relax, take photos, have a toilet break, and see Brisbane and its regions before heading back to the meeting point at the end of your tour.
