Full description

Explore one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world on a half-day tour to Stonehenge. Travel to the site from London by air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy views of the English landscape en route. The tour is unescorted, but visitors can download an audio guide on their smartphones. Situated on Salisbury Plain in the Wiltshire countryside, the cluster of 40-ton rocks was constructed more than 5,000 years ago.

Although the function of Stonehenge is still a matter of fierce debate, what is known about the UNESCO World Heritage Site is that it has been a site of pagan worship for centuries. Make up your own mind as you uncover the history behind the extraordinary monument. A new world-class visitor center is now a short shuttle bus ride away from the stone circle site and combines cutting-edge audiovisuals with exhibitions of ancient objects.

I really enjoyed this tour! : ))) I planned to go only to Stonehenge, but I loved the experience and sightseeing in Oxford and Windsor Castle, free of charge. Thanks!!! The guide (Vaughn) was brilliant!! Very friendly. He explained everything very well and with a very good knowledge too. He let us very comfortable and with harmony in the group all the time. The bus driver: (Ash) was very polite and professional too. Both applied the precaution against covid contamination and safety throughout the trip. I really recommend!

Trip was great. We saw everything. I would only suggest that you take a trip to Stonehenge with some other place added because there s to much time to spend only on Stonehenge.. Only thing that was bad on the trip was that it was to cold in the bus during our ride that last few hours.

It was a beautiful and unique experience, I would recommend it to anyone, plus the bus was not full and they take the necessary safety measures, like providing masks if you didn't have one and hand sanitizer. The driver Lawly was cool, I would recommend not to make plans right after the trip, it can take longer to get back to London, so better not book anything until a few hours after the expected arrival.
