100% recommend and 100% worth the money. We went at the end of February and the conditions were still great. Johan was a great guide, took care of everything. There was literally nothing to complain about. If you go to Stockholm, don't waste money on expensive bars, go do something fun outside instead.

The skating tour was organized really well. The explanation was clear, the equipment was good (sharp skates!) and the guide gave me the freedom to skate some extra "laps" since my level was a bit higher then the rest of the group. I enjoyed it a lot and would come back again for a long tour.

Full description

Experience a day of long-distance ice skating on the natural ice of Stockholm in an all-inclusive adventure that includes equipment and lessons. Join an experienced guide and head out to skate on some of the best natural ice in the world. This activity is suitable for a city break, urban adventure, or weekend visit to Stockholm. All you need is a normal level of fitness and health. For the beginner or novice interested in learning long-distance skating techniques, you will get training in what equipment is needed and how to use it. No prior knowledge or experience is needed, but note that the activity is not recommended for children under 15 years of age. Use the latest and safest skating equipment available, including a backpack filled with a full change of clothes, and enjoy a break for lunch with your fellow skaters.

I'm not a big fan of ice skating, but my daughter convinced me to book this trip. It was really amazing. We went on a first lake, but it snows the night before and the lake was covered with 5 cm snow. So it was very difficult to skate forward, even with the stock. So our guide find another lake, where the path was cleaned up. Then the skating was really easy. We heard also how the ice was thundering under us. It was really impressive. We had also a fire and a fika on a small island. It was wonderful.
