The card looks expensive from first sight. However, if you are prepared to visit many attractions per day it pays back your money (i.e. 2 museums + 1 boat trip + Hop on-off bus or boat). If you book more days (i.e. 3-4 days) the price per day drops and you can gain overall. It is just simple mathematics: plan what you want to visit on average per day and do a simple calculation how it will cost you with or without the card to see if you can gain money. The only negative point I found is that for some of the expensive and most popular boat trips (i.e. the Archipelago) you cannot book one day in advance. You have to be at the kiosks early in the morning the day you want to travel (just before opening) so that you can guarantee a space. Stockholm is really beautiful so there are so many things you can do. There is one attraction that I would recommend (to the card operators) adding in the card: bicycle rental (currently not included)

I highly recommend GYG as a vacation planning to. The free museum entry was a valuable aspect when visiting the many museums in Stockholm. The city game is most definitely a good way to learn about the city outside a guided tour. I've completed in two different city games and enjoyed in both. As a single, the excursions weren't so helpful since the agreement is for 2 persons. That said, I was able to secure desired trips using the vendor information provided to purchase outside the software. It was comforting to know the vendor was already vetted. Since I was in a hotel outside the city, the tour bus and boat was an enjoyable overview, but I found using city transit a better fit after that.
