We saw a lot in only three days. Yes, there is a lot of bus riding, but I'm not sure what those complaining were expecting. It was during COVID restrictions, and the company was clear about expectations and provided a safe environment on the bus. Now, the bus was generally good. The minibus that had enough space and reclining seats. But on day two the bus was making so much noise it was rather annoying, and on the third day, it was borderline unbearable. Your guide was John, and he's a guide you'll hate loving. He's good with history as I was fact checking him. He was funny, accommodating and was going out of his way to grant some requests.
Loved the tour very much. Michael was very knowledgeable and fun. Despite the Covid-19 impact in most of the region, he managed to accommodate the route and added additional views as we were a very small group and were quick to visit and covef the castle. A note to all that are considering Scotland as staycation destination, it is somehow quiet but nonetheless most of the sight can be visited and enjoyed, possibly not at full splendour as in a regular August, but a great experience definitely.
Despite the awful weather, we had a wonderful day visiting two distilleries. Jim, the guide was full of anecdotes and history, plus a wealth of knowledge on the Whisky industry. We would highly recommend the tour.
Great tour to get out of the city and experience the beauty of Scotland's nature! Really informative, enough time to explore at the various destinations, traditional music played to set the mood, really great!
George was an incredible guide with his stories, flexibility and lovely Scottish accent. He really tried to show me and tell me as much as possible. The views were stunning.
