Raising bridges is a remarkable event to see, tickets are very easily and quickly provided via the GetYourGuide app. The only suggestion is, given that it is cold at night, it would be good to provide and offer visitors a blanket, for example, before the end of the ride it was very cold for me.

Our guide Tim was very knowledgable & an expert in his field. Before starting out tour he gave us some interesting background & history of the Winter Palace, Alexander Column & the General Staff Building. During our tour of the Hermitage Tim’s talked us through each room, highlighting important details & pointing interesting things to see, which if we were not on a guided tour would be missed, for example how the ceilings & inlaid floors mirror each other in the Throne Room. His art knowledge is vey good & he shared insights into the artists techniques, styles & what to look for in the paintings, which was very interesting.

We took a sightseeing tour of Peterhofnpalace and gardens with GYG! Pardon me, but i have forgotten the name of our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and funny! She gave us just the right amount of insight about the Russian culture, and did not bombard us with a history lesson. All in all, it was a great experience. Much recommended!

Both guide and driver were very knowledgeable and helpful. Pick up and drop off were on time. The car was clean. The guide also explained the history of St. Petersburg as well as outer cities (on our way to the palaces). All in all, it was fun and informative.

My gude Oxana was brilliant. She explained the symbols in the paintings and unusual stories and made the whole tour very enjoyable and memorable.

Amazing Tour. Must have in your St Petersburg iteniary, specially night boat ride. Smooth check in by boat operator.

Very enjoyable excursion. Personal guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend this tour to anyone.
