Visit the highest and largest one-dome construction in St. Petersburg and Russia, St. Isaac's Cathedral. Built in 1848, this cathedral is one of the iconic monuments of the city, and its golden dome dominates the skyline of St. Petersburg.
It is dedicated to the Patron Saint of Peter the Great and was constructed under the direction of Tzar Alexander I. The impressive Cathedral took over 40 years to complete.
This tour will begin in the lobby of your hotel, from where we will either walk to St. Isaac's Cathedral or take a taxi/subway/public transport if this is more convenient. A friendly and informative guide will show you around and tell you about the insides of the Cathedral and following this you will climb the Colonnade together.
There are 262 steps to climb in order to reach the top of the colonnade, and you can expect a beautiful panoramic view of the St. Petersburg when you reach the top. For your convenience the tour will culminate at a place which you specify.
