Continue to Kilmainham Jail, which was involved in some of the most tragic events in Irish History. The tour was good for what it was: a theatrical experience. I had actually wanted to book the proper ghost tour which has more normal historic commentary, and where you get off and explore certain sites, but it was fully booked. This bus stopped only three times and we simply climbed down and stood around listening to a story being told at a particular spot, which we didn't enter. The fact that it was freezing didnt help.

  • Northside Ghost Walking Tour in Dublin

    3. Northside Ghost Walking Tour in Dublin

With its vast and turbulent history, it is not surprising that Dublin is one of the most haunted cities in the world. Beware! Those of a nervous disposition may be left feeling just a little bit spooked! You will discover the site of Saint Mary’s Abbey; one of the most powerful Irish monastic settlements in medieval times, and now just a small ruin down an alleyway, passed by thousands of oblivious commuters every day. If you are feeling brave enough, we will take a walk down Hendrick Street, once the site of two of the most haunted houses in Dublin. Between number 7 and 8 Hendrick Street lived no fewer than 6 different ghosts. You might want to steel your nerves before venturing with us to Croppie’s Acre. This long-abandoned site was used as a football pitch in the 20th century, but underneath is a mass grave – the final resting place of hundreds of rebels executed in the 1798 rebell...

We loved how this tour points out interesting locations not listed in the average guide books which we hope to explore further before heading home. We've done ghost tours in other cities as well, they have all been a extra special addition to the typical tourist locations.

Our guide, Adam, was great. He was passionate and engaging. This is a walking tour and we did have some rain (not a big surprise) so wear good shoes and bring a rain jacket or umbrella. Our group was small and the stops were uncrowded. At times the traffic did make it a bit tougher to hear but Adam did his best to speak loudly.

Our guide Diane was brilliant. She loves to guide their guests with a lot of informations and stories around the history of Dublin. Thank you so much for a three hour walking tour felt like 30 minutes. Diane woke up my interests to dive deeper in the Irish history. Thank you so much.

Really neat to hear about the "darker" side of Ireland! Adam out tour guide was great and recommended a dinner spot. It had great food and live music! Def worth it!

The Guide was super informative and kept the attention of the group throughout the tour! It’s definitely a recommendation!!!

Very informative tour with a very engaging tour guide. 10/10 would definitely recommend
