Bath: Sightseeing Boat Cruise with Prosecco

1. Bath: Sightseeing Boat Cruise with Prosecco

See the highlights of Bath from the water on a shared or private cruise on a restored 1960s cruiser. Choose the standard option to enjoy two glasses of Prosecco as you lounge in the sun or by the coal fire. Celebrate your party or get-together with the bottomless Prosecco and gin tasting cruise options. On sunny days, enjoy an open cockpit roof on the boat, or stay cozy and warm with a real coal fire on cooler days. As you enjoy your trip onboard an authentic, restored 1960s small cruiser, your skipper will point out the key attractions.  See the entrance to the Kennet and Avon Canal, which links London with the Bristol Channel, and cruise under North Parade Bridge.  Look out for nesting peregrine falcons at the 19th-century St. John’s Church, and see Pulteney Bridge, the rushing weir, and the city center architecture, including the 17th-century Bath Abbey. For standard private and shared tour options, enjoy your view with two glasses of Prosecco while you pass under Halfpenny Bridge and see the location where the old wharves used to stand, the central point of Bath’s trading links with Bristol since the 18th century. Private Bottomless Prosecco Cruise For groups, parties, and other celebrations, pump up the part with the private bottomless Prosecco cruise option. Keep the prosecco flowing as you keep the party going. Enjoy access to the onboard music system to play all your favorite tunes. Private Gin Tasting Cruise Alternatively, sip a G&T with friends with the private gin tasting cruise option. Cranking up the music of your choice and sip on signature boat cocktails. Sit back as your guides talk you through three spirit samples from the Gin collection, all before raising a toast with your favorite gin and mixer.

The Cotswold Heritage Tour

2. The Cotswold Heritage Tour

On day one Arrive at Moreton-in-Marsh train station and make your way to your B&B to receive your welcome pack and maps. On Day Two, start your exploration from the beautiful village of Chipping Campden, arguably the loveliest of the Cotswold towns. A taxi will collect you from Moreton in Marsh and take you to the start of your holiday. From there, you’ll embark on a 7.75-mile walk that takes you through Broad Campden, Blockley, and the arboretum and falconry center at Batsford House. Your trail will end at Moreton in Marsh, where you’ll spend a second night at your B&B. On Day Three, cross the high wolds to Stow-on-the-Wold, complete with village stocks and picturesque square, via the fantastic Mogul manor house at Sezincote and a number of pretty hamlets. Overnight in Stow-on-the-Wold. Arrive before 4pm to enjoy a complimentary cream tea in a traditional village tearoom. Drop Down - On Day Four, walk from Stow-on-the-Wold to Bourton-on-the-Water, a leisurely downhill walk across meadows to picturesque Lower Slaughter and on to Bourton-on-the-Water, with its many attractions. Overnight in Bourton-on-the-Water. This walk would give you the afternoon to enjoy Bourton on the Water’s many restaurants, shops, and museums. On Day Five, enjoy a 11-mile circular walk from Bourton to Nuanton, Lower Slaughter, and Upper Slaughter. This is a challenging route that takes an average of 4 hours and 49 minutes to complete. Along the way, you’ll encounter other people while exploring this popular area for hiking and walking. On Day Six, after breakfast, transfer to Bibury, the village described by William Morris as “the most beautiful village in England”. Choose whether to explore the village and do a short circular walk or undertake a longer loop trail that goes to Coln Saint Aldwyns. This longer circular walk takes you around the delightful village of Bibury and the surrounding countryside. Bibury is a typically lovely Cotswolds village with pretty stone cottages and a wonderful Saxon church. This walk takes you through the village and then along a riverside footpath to the nearby village of Coln St Aldwyns. You'll follow the River Colne into the village before returning to Bibury through the countryside on footpaths and bridleways. You'll also pass the famous Arlington Row cottages, built in the 14th century. The picturesque dwellings are one of the most photographed Cotswold scenes. For your last day join the trail and head to Chedworth Roman Villa. This was rediscovered by the Victorians over 150 years ago and provides a unique insight into life during the Roman period in Britain. A modern conservation building provides exceptional access to the extensive mosaic floors, hypocaust systems and bath house rooms.
