Enjoy a full-day sightseeing Krka Skradinski and Roški Falls from Split. Take a river cruise to Skradin, drive to the Roški Waterfall and get panoramic views of Visovac and the Čikola Canyon.
What to Expect
This full-day excursion from Split takes in some of Croatia’s most beautiful natural sights at the Krka National Park in Dalmatia. You will get a wonderful panoramic view of the Krka River, and marvel at the rocks of Čikola Canyon on the way to Visovac Island.
Depart from Trogir and head towards Krka National Park, where you will enjoy a 90-minute walking tour with a guide, exploring the exceptionally rich flora and fauna of the park. Follow with a river cruise to Skradin and drive towards the Roški Waterfall, where you can take a 2-hour break for swimming. Enjoy the kind of ambiance that is impossible to feel at a more commercialized waterfall.
Another highlight will be to take lunch in an authentic Konoba, or tavern. It is where modern Croatians enjoy traditional food and drink, such as the cherry, walnut, herbal, or natural brandies of Croatia; “pršut” or prosciutto ham, smoked and dried on “bura” by the cold, dry northern winds; home-made cheese; home-grown tomatoes; and home-brewed red wine.
Soak up the homely atmosphere, which can leave the unsuspecting lingering for a lengthy while, reluctant to go home!
