Full description

Depart Split and travel in air-conditioned comfort to Krka National Park. Take photos of the spectacular scenery in real time as you drive towards the impressive waterfalls of the park. Visit three of the nicest locations within Krka National Park starting at Skradinski buk waterfalls, the largest travertine waterfall in Europe, with a stop for a view of the 2,000-year old town of Skradin located within the Krka National Park river canyon. Cross the lake by boat on arrival, and get around 4 hours of free time to relax, go for a swim, or learn more about the natural history of the park from the on-hand guides. Take in stunning views of the Island of Visovac, one of the most photographed islands in Croatia. Go on a stroll through this very relaxed part of the park, noting all the beautiful flora and the fauna of the park in the best way possible. Continue to the Roški waterfalls, Krka is a secret corner of the park which is still relatively undiscovered by commercial tourism. Visit the Ethno village and its 700-year-old watermill. Enjoy an optional traditional meal at a waterside restaurant. Savor the local meats, salads, and cheese platter paired with regional white or red wine. On the way back to Split, stop at a local konoba or homestead restaurant. Try out complimentary schnapps and liquors which are produced on the homestead. Please note that in the winter months (from November 1–March 31), the park closes early, the boat trip from Skradin is unavailable, and the restaurant is closed. As a result, you'll leave the park at approximately 2 PM and visit the seaside city of Trogir for about 1 hour. Explore this beautiful town and enjoy lunch there prior to returning to Split at approximately 4 PM.

The tour was excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgeable. There were only four of us on the tour as it was the off season, but we were on a small minibus so even full it would have been a small group. We ended up ahead of schedule so we went to couple of extra spots which were lovely. The food and drink were great too.

Fantastic day with Tonchi! Absolutely worthwhile experience. Krka is beautiful and we were able to go to places in the park other groups don’t visit. Wonderful liqueur tasting, lunch, and swim. Gorgeous viewpoints. Tonchi was full of knowledge and very friendly, thoroughly enjoyed the day with him learning about all things Croatian history, culture, present day, and he was fun to be with for the trip. Highly recommend this outing with this company. They were great to us from the moment we arrived to the time we were dropped off.

The meeting point was super easy to find! We had the pleasure of having TONY as our guide! What a charismatic lovely person he is! He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, funny and he made all of us feel very happy and relaxed. The tour was easy going with lots of information. Krka itself is very busy and some may struggle with the crowded spaces - however this tour allows time to travel further away to less busy areas for local spirit tasting (Sooo strong lol) and relaxing time! We loved it!! And Tony really did make the trip! A pleasure!
