What to Expect
After being welcomed upon arrival at Split Airport you'll be transfered to your hotel. There will be some time to unpack and relax before the evening get together that includes a welcome drink followed by dinner.
At 8:00 your transfer to Plitvice will be waiting. Situated in a dense, one hundred year old forest, the Plitvice lakes are considered to be one of the most beautiful natural sites in the world. This popular attraction includes several caves and various flora and fauna that have remained largely untouched for thousand of years. The trip to the park takes 3 hours, and the tour through the park 3.5 hours. The tour includes a boat trip along the lake. Lunch will be served in the traditional local restaurant “Licka kuca”. After lunch and further sightseeing, the tour departs for Zadar, where you will spend the night.
Your morning transfer will take you to the city of Nin, an old Croatian crown city believed to be the first political center in history. You will tour around the center of the city and visit the monument of Grgur Ninski. The tour also includes the Cathedral and St. Nicholas church, as well as a visit to one of the last remaining traditional salt factories on the Adriatic Sea. The tour then returns to Zadar, where you'll tour around the city and visit the exhibition „Gold and silver of city of Zadar“. After lunch you'll travel to Split or Omis where you'll spend the night.
In the morning you will travel by minibus to Biokovo Nature Park with your guide. At the park you have the option to take a 2.5 hour hiking walk up to Peak Vosac (1422m). On this beautiful walk you'll enjoy wonderful views and maybe even interaction with local mountain goats and muflons. The next stop on the tour is the village of Makar where you'll enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant, Mlinice. After lunch you'll be transferred to your hotel in Makarska.
Medjugorje is the first point of call in the morning, a well known catholic tourist destination. Here your day includes an optional Catholic Mass, individual tour and lunch followed by transfer to Mostar. In Mostor you will see the famous Old Bridge, built by Hajrudin in the 17th century. In Mostor you will be met by your guide who will take you on a sightseeing tour of the city. Accommodation will be arranged in a local hotel near the bridge.
In the morning you will travel to Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a magical city filled with picturesque palaces, old churches and monasteries, old libraries, treasuries, cobbled streets and squares. Lunch will be enjoyed in Mali Ston, one of the best and most exclusive restaurants.
Today you'll enjoy an individual lunch and sightseeing in Split, followed by shopping time in the afternoon. Your wonderful tour of Crotia ends today in Split.
