Everything worked well from Hurghada airport to Cairo and back. Our guide was amazing telling us a lot of more about Egypt than what we expected.
Enjoy the variety of Egypt and visit Cairo from Hurghada. An air-conditioned car will bring you from your hotel to Hurghada airport where you will board your flight to Cairo. On arrival in the Egyptian capital, an Egyptologist guide will be waiting for your arrival. The journey begins in Giza, where you will visit 3 of Egypt's largest and most famous pyramids. The Great Pyramid is the oldest, and is the last remaining Wonder of the 7 Wonders of the World. The tip of the Pyramid of Khafre is still partially covered with limestone. The Pyramid of Menkaure is surrounded by 3 other, much smaller pyramids. Visit the step pyramids of Sakkara. The necropolis of Sakkara is the next most important burial site of Lower Egypt, after Giza. The largest and most impressive burial site is that of the Pharaoh Djoser, from the 3rd dynasty of the Old Kingdom, around 2650 B.C. He is buried in a famous s...
Received email confirmation and pick up time the evening before. The agent was waiting in reception at allotted time with our flight boarding passes (outward and return) and then we had transfer in private car to airport. Here security was very strict and extremely slow...2 complete security checks before boarding gate. Allow at least 1-1.5 hours extra time for this. There are no facilities other than toilets. Very short flight with drinks and biscuits. Met at other end in Cairo by tour guide who was easily identifiable. Group consisted of 7 adults. Had our own air con mini bus all day so could leave stuff in bus. Our guide Tharwat spoke good English and was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. We agreed to go to Egyptian Museum instead of Sakkara and were glad we did. Tharwat included this in our original price. The included lunch was in a lovely restaurant overlooking the pyramids. As well as Giza plateau Tharwat took us to visit 2 Businesses (papyrus and oils) and a mall

Then, explore the Valley Temple, the location where priests mummified the body of King Chephren. Get a close-up look at the famous Sphinx, the legendary guardian with the head of a king and the body of a lion. Next, continue to Sakkara, located only 16 miles southwest from Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser and an important aspect of the pyramids’ evolution. Then, head over to Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt and home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 BC. After this, stop for ...
