Loved the experience! With shows every 30 minutes there's always an informative performance that you can catch at the Johnson Space Center even if you missed the last one. The souvenir shops are half decent, but the food as expected is excessively priced. The knowledge gained through the exhibits and interactive exhibits was fantastic and once in a lifetime.

The Space Center was well worth a day trip! There was plenty to do for adults and children, including hands on activities, movies, climbing into a shuttle, and even touching a moon rock! It was just my husband and I, but we plan to return with our 4 kids. We learned so much about past and present space programs. I recommend booking the white (mission control) shuttle ASAP when you arrive and then the other right after you return to make sure you get a seat. This place is well organized to keep even a crowd feeling like there is enough "space" to explore! By purchasing tickets through this site, we saved almost $35. Well worth it.

I cannot express how much fun the space center is. There is so much to see and learn. The children can even become certified astronauts. There is a moon rock wall. The space rockets are humongous. You are able to take photos with the rocket launch engines, which are so big.
