What people are saying about South of Broad, Charleston
Maggie and Drudge were wonderful guides through some of the more important historical sites of Charleston. Not being a native, Maggie pointed out the things she thought other "new to Charleston" folk like me would find entertaining. Drudge did her job and likely could have made the route without Maggie's help (though Maggie helped with the traffic).
We never been before like this to take horse carriage trip in our lives. We were too much excited to take such ride and we really enjoyed it. The trip guide was really very good and explained everything in very good and specific manner.
Awesome tour! Nice to have a knowledgeable, funny guide to explain the beautiful (and sometimes ugly, i.e. the city jail) sites we were getting up close and personal views of. Great historical introduction to a fascinating city!
Great way to see architecture and hear history of Charleston in comfort. Horses are well trained and bomb proof, as cars and pedestrians surge everywhere. 1 & 1/2 hour tour is right length.
Amazing experience! First time in Charleston and thought a carriage ride would be fun. Boy, was we right. Daughters loved it and Michael (guide) was great. Thanks for great experience.
