I think the is the best of all tour operators in Skjervøy. It’s a smaller business but very very recommendable. We got warming clothes and shoes and goggles. I liked that this tour operator did NOT chase the whales like the other companies. We saw orca and humpback whales. Our tour guide was really really friendly and helpful. I wish I could give 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Go with the Red Bus, from Tromsø Bus Terminal at Prostneset, Tromsø, to Skjervøy. Meet up latest 5:20 AM at Tromsø Bus Terminal, Prostneset, Tromsø. Here you will find the Red Bus from Bussringen - Arctic Buss, embark it to Skjervøy. Do whale watching RIB safari at the sea areas off Skjervøy and surrounding areas. The sea areas off Skjervøy, north and east of Tromsø, are the whales’ hunting grounds. From late October to 26th of January 2025, these giant marine mammals migrate towards the coast in search of herring. In Skjervøy, approximately 3,5 hours drive from Tromsø, you will meet our guide. He will bring you to our place for dressing up, and then you can enjoy a 2,5 hour RIB safari in the sea areas off Skjervøy, north and east of Tromsø. See orca and humpback in the enjoyable and spectacular Northern Norway cost landscape views.

Take the Red Bus, named Bussringen - Arctic Route at the Tromsø Bus Terminal at 5:20 AM. After 3.5 hours, you are in Skjevøy. Our meeting point in Skjervøy is at our headquarters on wheels, covered by a whale picture, so it’s easy to find. Meeting time is from 9:15 AM to latest 9:30 AM (depends when the bus is coming to Skjervøy). You can ask the driver to follow the road called “Strandveien” and get dropped off at our place, just 50 meters from the road. You can also walk 3 minutes, from the bus terminal waiting point, where the buses are parked, by following the road called “Strandveien”, to our meeting point.

We had such a great and special experience! The guide showed such good knowledge of the place and arctic wildlife. We saw dozens of killer whales and even a Humpback whale with astonishing views of the fjords at dawn. Eventough it was just the two of us, the guide took us into the wild and it was just unbelievable!!! He equipped us with the best gear and it was so worth it!
