The boat trip was so enjoyable. My only gripe was that there was a lot of noisy babies and young children and because of this was extremely hard to hear the commentary. Can I suggest I think would be a good idea is that you arrange trips for adults only and also trips for families only. I understand it’s a lovely family outing but I did overhear other people saying the same that they couldn’t hear a thing. Nonetheless we still had a really good boat trip and would most definitely do it again when visiting skipton.

it was a lovely experience very funny commentary and also informative information about the history of the mills etc shall definitely doing it again not to mention seeing a beautiful grey Heron and swans with signet’s lots of canadian geese would definitely recommend to anyone

The best part was the narration by the “Captain “, and the young man running from bridge to bridge! Also, the young lady in ticket office and later on the boat was delightful!!

Better than anticipated. Easy to find, good parking. On time. The Dave Spikey commentator was very entertaining and informative. Good facilities at the boarding canal side

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The barge was clean and comfortable, with great informative commentary by Dave Spikey. Lovely way to spend an hour.
