Barcelona: Tarragona & Sitges Guided Day Trip with Transfers

This tour will give you an idea of the glorious civilisations around the Mediterranean Sea since Phoenician times til nowadays. Get an idea of ancient Roman capital Tarraco and enjoy the trendy beach town of Sitges on the way back. This tour starts with the hotel pickup in Barcelona. We travel in a comfortable air-conditioned SUV to Tarragona where we stop for a photo at the Devil's Bridge before we start a walking tour of the city at the Balcony of the Mediterranean. We walk along the seafront to the amphitheater, then we walk to the circus, the forum and the cathedral. We enter Santa Tecla cathedral, a masterpiece of gothic architecture built on top of the foundations of a Roman temple. After the visit, we can stay in the area for a yummy lunch in the center of town. In the afternoon we commute to the trendy beach town of Sitges, where you have time for shopping, a sunbath or a laid-back time in one of Sitges' stylish street cafés.

our guide was Sergio and hectic was fantastic. we had a family of 4, 2 kids 9 and 11 and he was able to keep their attention and engage with them as well as all the adults. he was very well-informed and his positive energy was perfect. we feel really grateful we booked this tour. it was professional, educational and extremely fun for us all. thank you sergio!!

The day was incredible. The guide is extremely communicative and explains a lot about the history of the tourist attractions visited. The aqueduct is a great historical landmark, and there is nothing to say about the beauty of the beaches and cities of Tarragona and Sitges. I fell in love with them.

We enjoyed Tarragona very much, specially because we love history. Sitges was also interesting. Overall, a very good experience.
